How You Can Help Support the Quartermaster Museum
Donate
The Army Quartermaster Foundation continues the work it began in 1957 to preserve the Quartermaster Story and teach its history, heritage and legacy to the present and future generations of Quartermaster Soldiers, Department of the Army civilians, Fort Gregg-Adams and surrounding communities and visitors from around the nation and the world.
While the Museum receives some support from the Department of the Army and the Fort Gregg-Adams command, those funds go toward a basic level of sustainment only. It does not allow for new initiatives such as acquiring artifacts, upgrading exhibits, expanding the facility, or initiating new programs. It is only through your generosity that the Quartermaster Museum will continue to grow and thrive for generations to come. We rely on your direct support to preserve and enhance our Quartermaster Soldiers’ legacy.
Cumulative donations of $100 – $499 earn the donor Basic Membership status and the privileges described below. Cumulative donations of $500 or more earn the donor Voting Membership status, with privileges described below.
Your contributions to the Foundation are deductible from federal income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations of any size are welcome and appreciated. Please donate today to say Thank You to our Soldiers – past, present, and future.

Other Ways to Give
Required Minimum Distribution
If you are 72 years of age and have a regular IRA you are taking a required minimum distribution as required by the Internal Revenue Service. Income from IRAs or other retirement accounts other than a Roth IRA is taxable in the year it is distributed. You can make a Qualified Charitable Contribution to a 501c(3) charity as part of or all of your required minimum distribution. This donation is not taxable and is in addition to your regular standard deduction for that tax year. The check is made directly from your financial institution to the charity and must be made prior to December 31st in order to receive the benefit of the donation in that tax year. Your financial institution will help you decide if this would be a beneficial way to support the Army Quartermaster Foundation.
Estate Planning
If given the chance, most of us would like to contribute to a cause that will benefit the lives of others for generations. A planned gift is a way to achieve this and to create a legacy for you that lasts beyond your lifetime.
A planned gift brings your thoughtful planning, vision, and generosity together in the form of a bequest. By designating the Army Quartermaster Foundation as a beneficiary in your will or trust, you will play a significant role in ensuring our Foundation is able to support the legacy and history of the Quartermaster Corps through our financial support of the Quartermaster Museum.
Benefits can be a specified amount or a percentage of an estate. Your estate planner or trust manager will be able to answer any questions you may have about this form of giving.
Corporate Giving
As a non-profit 501c(3), tax-exempt, educational organization, we welcome inquiries from companies that support our mission of enhancing and extending the capability of the Army Quartermaster Museum. Contact our office to learn more.
Matching Gifts
Your donation to the Army Quartermaster Foundation may be doubled if your employer has a matching gift program that matches charitable contributions made by their employees (and in some cases retirees and/or spouses). Check with your employer’s Human Resource Office to see if they offer this opportunity. If they do, request the appropriate form, and send it completed and signed with your donation. We will take it from there.
