CW5 Ormsby’s key assignments include: Command Food Advisor, Multinational Forces-Iraq, (MNF-I) Baghdad; Command Food Advisor, U.S. Army Reserve Command, Fort McPherson, Georgia; Command Food Advisor, U.S. Army Reserve 81st Regional Support Command, Birmingham, Alabama; Command Food Advisor, U.S. Army Reserve 88th Regional Support Command, Indianapolis, Indiana; and the Command Food Advisor, 79th Army Reserve Command, Willow Grove Naval Air Station, Pennsylvania. As Command Food Advisor MNF-I, he was responsible for command plans, policies and procedures for feeding 225,000 coalition troops and civilians conducting Operation Iraqi Freedom. He had supervisory responsibility for 96 military and contracted dining facilities throughout Iraq. As Command Food Advisor of the Army Reserve Command. CW5 Ormsby was instrumental in establishing the first Army Reserve Culinary Arts Team which received several awards during his five year tenure.
