The Quartermaster Hall of Fame award is the highest form of recognition the Corps offers. This much coveted award honors individuals who are judged to have made the most significant contributions to the overall history and traditions of the Quartermaster Corps.

COL Calvin L. Russell

Colonel Calvin L. Russell is a native of Anniston, Alabama. He is a 1977 graduate of Jacksonville State University, Alabama. He earned a Doctorate Degree in Business Administration from Walden University, Minneapolis, Minnesota. He held many diverse assignments including: Battalion S-4, Parachute Pack Platoon Leader, Company Executive Officer, and B Detachment Commander, 407th Supply & Services Battalion, 82d Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; 7th Support Group Supply S-4 Officer and Commander, 240th Supply & Services Company, Logistics Support Operations Officer, Headquarters, 13th Supply & Services Battalion, 2nd Supreme Command, VII Corps, Germany; Support Operations and Battalion Executive Officer, 24th Support Battalion, 24th Mechanized Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Georgia; Division Contracting Officer, in support of Operations Desert Shield Desert Storm and Logistics Advisor to the Logistics Base Commanding General, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; Commander, 502nd Forward Support Battalion, 2nd Armored Division, Fort Hood, Texas; and Senior Logistics Advisor to the Saudi Land Forces, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. His last assignment was as the Deputy Plans and Operations, Army G-4.
