The Quartermaster Hall of Fame award is the highest form of recognition the Corps offers. This much coveted award honors individuals who are judged to have made the most significant contributions to the overall history and traditions of the Quartermaster Corps.

Class of 2017

Lieutenant General Wyche retired from active duty on 1 September 2017 culminating a 35 year career as Deputy Commanding General/Chief of Staff, United States Army Materiel Command. 

Over his 35 year career, General Wyche served in a variety of command and staff positions.  His command assignments include Deputy Commanding General, United States Army Materiel Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama; Commanding General, United States Army Combined Arms Support Command and the Sustainment Center of Excellence, Fort Lee, Virginia; Commanding General, Joint Munitions Lethality, Life Cycle Management Command/Joint Munitions Command, Rock Island, Illinois; Commander, 10th Sustainment Brigade with duty as Command, Joint Logistics Command, Combined Joint Task Force-76, Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM, Afghanistan; Commander, 4th Forward Support Battalion, 4th Infantry Division (Mechanized), Fort Hood, Texas; Commander, 114th Quartermaster Company, 2nd Quartermaster Group, Eighth United States Army, Korea.  

His senior staff assignments include Chief of Staff, United States Army Materiel Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama; Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics and Operations, United States Army Materiel Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama; Director for Strategy and Integration, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-4, United States Army, Washington, DC; Chief, Initiatives Group, later Chief, Focused Logistics Division, Force Development Directorate, G-8, United States Army, Washington, DC.

General Wyche is authorized to wear the Distinguished Service Medal (with 3 Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters), Legion of Merit (with 1 Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster), Bronze Star Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (with 2 Bronze Star Clusters), Army Commendation Medal (with three Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters), Joint Service Achievement Medal (with 1 Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Achievement Medal (with 1 Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster), and the Parachutist Badge.
