The Quartermaster Hall of Fame award is the highest form of recognition the Corps offers. This much coveted award honors individuals who are judged to have made the most significant contributions to the overall history and traditions of the Quartermaster Corps.

SES Keith A. Maxie
Class of 2023

Senior Executive Service Mr. Keith A. Maxie is a native of  Houston, Texas. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Texas-Austin and was commissioned a 2LT in the Quartermaster Corps as an Army ROTC Distinguished Military Graduate in 1967. 

He holds a Masters in Business Administration degree in Management Information Systems from Texas Tech University and earned a Masters degree in National Security Strategy and Resources from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces. Mr. Maxie served in a myriad of key command and staff positions throughout his military career to include: Director of Supply Liaison, Information Systems Support, Office of the Deputy Commanding General for Materiel Readiness, US Army Materiel Command; Commander, 9th Supply and Transport Battalion, and Commander, 2d Forward Support Battalion, 9th Infantry Division Support Command, (DISCOM), Fort Lewis, Washington; Logistics Automation Officer, US Army Europe (USAREUR); and Logistics Officer, 701st Maintenance Battalion, 1st Infantry Division, Republic of Vietnam. Mr. Maxie served more than 22 years of active military service retiring as a Colonel in August 1989. He was appointed to Senior Executive Service (SES) status in September 1994 serving as Director and Principal Investigator, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense.
